Buyer Confidence Increasing
Remember what I talked about last week? I mentioned two buyers from the UK and how I see their interest in the market as a positive sign. Well, one couple could not find the property they wanted on the market. I knew the exact home for them, but it wasn’t on the market. So, I sent a text to one of my neighbors in Sunbeam Estates, because his home is exactly what they wanted.
The negotiations got started and bingo the UK couple ($1.5mil to $2mill range) are now under contract. Soon they will be my new neighbor.
This story is significant. I have not seen homes selling without being on the market for at least a couple of years. Buyer confidence is increasing. Why? The Dow Jones is over 12,000 – that helps.
